The "H-W" Yarn Conditioner For over 50 years the "H-W" yarn conditioner has successfully served the textile industry worldwide. This proven technology continues today as the answer to uniform yarn conditioning with total economics in mind.
Presently all new "H-W" conditioners utilize an electronic controller/recorder in combination with a solid state thermal system. This improved control system affords our customer a yarn conditioning process that is essentially maintenance free. Periodic calibrations are not required and the RTD sensors are virtually indestructible. Should you have an "H-W" conditioner in your operation that has served your yarn conditioning needs for 15-20 years, it may be time to consider a new and improved unit. If for some reason you are not conditioning your yarn prior to weaving and/or knitting; you might investigate the improved efficiencies witnessed by the textile industry when conditioned yarn is used. The first step in solving a food service challenge is to identify that challenge.
Over the years little has changed in the design of the "H-W" yarn conditioner. The basic principle and the rugged stainless steel corrosion resistant construction has been maintained. What has changed, however, is the exterior skin. Currently all new machines utilize rigidized aluminum vs. asbestos board. This new exterior satisfies all OSHA Safety Standards. Another significant improvement, implemented in 1991, was the replacement of the mechanical controller/recorder and gas filled thermal system.
